Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She played for Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college, before being drafted with the number 5 overall by the Wings in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale born 2nd March 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Arike received her diploma from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School located in her home town. Arike also participated in three seasons of varsity while she was studying at the school. Ogunbowale, with her extraordinary skills and abilities, led her team to incredible victories numerous times. With 73 high school starts throughout her playing career, she scores 1,477 points and 739 rebound. Ogunbowale was a participant in the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships 2013 3x3 Championships of FIBA for U18 in which she was awarded gold medals. Ogunbowale was selected as the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on the 7th of July 2014. Ogunbowale is also part of the ACC All-Freshman Team, after her first year at the college. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for her big shots during the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale might be new to basketball, but she's already made herself known.
