Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. She studied boxing, kickboxing as well as wrestling, before making her first amateur appearance at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd had an amazing 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent right in the first round. After that, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd recovered from this loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional bout. Aspen's superior wrestling skill was able to take down McGill, and she was able to stop her fight in the third round via TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy with a catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd did not weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the 2nd round via TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last bout with the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina by using the ground and pound strategy which resulted in an TKO second round victory. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the opening round, and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first big fight.
