Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. She studied boxing, kickboxing as well as wrestling, before making her first amateur appearance at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the opening round, and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first big fight. Ladd, who won by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges between the two fighters, got her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight which ended her streak to win. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her place She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
